Leon Elias, photography & videography, artist

Videographer, musician, composer, photographer, multi artist. After secondary school Leon started his studies for Bachelor of Arts on Rotterdam. During his studies he started working as a videomaker. His first work was for SEKI (Stichting Europeese Kunst & Industrie) and Gold, Silver and Clock Museum Schoonhoven. In his 3rd and 4th year he made a tour as a drummer with a music dance and theatre group to Brasil and South Africa as a graduation project in 1996. After years of performing as bandleader and session leader, concert programmer, producer and music teacher, it was time for a new and different road: Photography.

Leon likes to work conceptual in his photography: happiness, contrast, drinkin cans, love, bicycles, little animals, mobile, photographers taking pictures and more. He seems to capture the moment of inattention, showing the subject its view in the mirror.
